If you would like to register your child for pickup, please add this item to your cart at checkout.

We offer pickup from PS 234 & PS 89 for HSP learners in grades PreK to 5 on every day that HSP is in session. HSP staff pickup learners from school at dismissal time and bring them to JCP for supervised free time until class begins. Snacks are provided.

    Please note:

We have a limited number of spots available in the program for each HSP day.
The program is contingent on registration numbers. It will run on a given HSP day if at least three children register from your school.
The program is available to grades PreK to 5 at PS 89 and PS 234 only.

If your child attends a different school and would like to be dropped off at JCP early, please email Kai Segall (ksegall@jcpdowntown.org) to discuss.

    MEMBERSHIP
Membership is paramount to building and maintaining our incredible community as the Center for Jewish Life in Lower Manhattan. We have implemented a mandatory but flexible membership model, requiring all families enrolling learners in our schools to become members. You have the option to pay the suggested annual rate for your household or select the pay-what-you-can option. If you are not yet a member, visit https://jcpdowntown.org/membership to complete your membership enrollment prior to completing the HSP form below.

JCP members who pay the full suggested annual membership rate for their household are eligible for a tuition discount of $250 per child, plus an extra $100 off per sibling when enrolling multiple children in HSP. These discount codes were sent to families directly. If you did not receive your code, please email ksegall@jcpdowntown.org.

If you are ineligible for the member discount but are enrolling multiple children in HSP, you are still eligible to receive the sibling discount. Use the appropriate discount code at checkout:

If you are enrolling a total of two children in HSP, enter the code SIBLINGDISC2 at checkout.
If you are enrolling a total of three children in HSP, enter the code SIBLINGDISC3 at checkout.

  • Releases

  • General Release

On behalf of myself and my child, I do hereby release and discharge and agree to hold harmless the Jewish Community Project of Lower Manhattan, Inc. and its members, officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents (including persons serving as volunteers) (collectively, hereinafter referred to as "JCP"), individually and collectively, of and from any and all liability, action, cause of action, claim, demand, and responsibility whatsoever in law and in equity, arising out of or in consequence of my child's participation in the HSP, including, specifically but without limitation, bodily injury, unless same is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of JCP.

    First Aid Release

I give consent for the staff of JCP to administer general first aid to my child(ren) when necessary.

    Emergency Release

In the case of emergency, I hereby authorize the doctor or hospital to which my child(ren) may be brought (and whomever they may designate as their assistants) to perform any emergency procedure or operation, to give treatment and the administration of an anesthetic to my child(ren) during his/her stay in school. Please e-sign below. NOTE: It is the firm hope that the authorization granted on this will never need to be used. For the safety of the children, however, sound medical practice calls for such authorization. In emergency situations, where the parent/guardian of the child(ren) cannot be contacted immediately, this form may be extremely important. The authorization granted by this form will be used only where absolutely necessary and only after every attempt has been made first to contact the parent/guardian. We find that doctors and hospitals refuse to give any treatment, regardless of how minor, unless they have authorization from the parents/guardians. As you know, time can be a factor in being of assistance to your child(ren) where medical attention is needed, and this would assure us that no time would be lost in giving immediate attention. This authorization will be kept on file at the HSP.

    Emergency Transportation Release

In case of emergency, I authorize JCP to call emergency services and follow instructions from medical authorities—this may include emergency transport to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room, or other medical facility for medical treatment. I understand that my child(ren) may be transported by ambulance and that I will be responsible for costs incurred for obtaining emergency medical services.

    Field Trip Release

I hereby give permission for my child(ren) to participate in trips as part of the JCP HSP.

These images (photograph & video) may be used in any and all JCP publications, including, but not limited to, electronic materials, the website, social media outlets, audio/visual presentations, promotional literature and/or advertising.
